Thank you for your interest in supporting our official JET charity Everest of Apples and our partner organization Room to Read www.roomtoread.org.

The process to donate is quite easy as you can use a credit card or bank debit card to set it up online with Room to Read. You will receive all official tax-deductible documents automatically, since Room to Read is an officially registered nonprofit organization.

Instructions for Donating

Step #1:Go to www.roomtoread.org/involvement/donate.html

  1. ♦ Please set-up monthly donations by Monday, September 10th, 2007.

Step #2:

  1. ♦ For US Donations, the appeal name "Oita/Everest of Apples-Akita" should be noted in the "special instructions" section on the webpage. Under "Restrictions", please note the country as "Nepal" and "Schools" as the program. Under the how did you hear about us, please write "Everest of Apples-Akita Japan".

  2. ♦ For UK Donations, donors can indicate the appeal name, "Oita/Everest of Apples-Akita" in the "comments" box at the end of the web donations process. This page will be the last to appear, and will show up after the donor has given their payment information. If prompted, under "Restrictions", please note the country as "Nepal" and "Schools" as the program and under the how did you hear about us, please write "Everest of Apples-Akita Japan".

  3. ♦ For Canada Donations, the appeal name, "Oita/Everest of Apples-Akita" should be noted in the "message/instructions" comment box. Please note that donors will need to select "Room to Read Fund" from the "Fund/Designation" drop down menu. If prompted, under "Restrictions", please note the country as "Nepal" and "Schools" as the program and under the how did you hear about us, please write "Everest of Apples-Akita Japan".

  4. ♦ All other Countries, follow the instruction for US donations as you can still donate with a credit card online in US dollars.

For Akita JET Programme Participants, you may also give cash donations directly to Lauren Messing or Robert Evans at any time.

Step #3: Please email everest_of_apples_akita@yahoo.com with your name when you have finished the process.
